A Meeting Venue Close To The A5

Although Lion Quays feels rural, we're actually close to the A5. We're less than 30 miles from Chester, and you can even be with us in an hour and a half from Manchester. We have parking for 400 cars (so that's one less thing to think about ) and it's a five-minute taxi ride from Gobowen station.

Meetings In The Cabinet Rooms

Yes, Lion Quays meeting spaces are based on the stately rooms of Downing Street, and they're sure to make an impression on your delegates. These stylish rooms will hold between 10 and 60 people and are equipped with all that essential AV kit. All four rooms have natural daylight, and one even has its own balcony.

Conference Suites At Lion Quays

If you're hosting a larger event, such as a conference, launch or awards ceremony, we have three suites: Montgomery, Garden and Lion. Lion is the largest and can hold up to 400 people theatre-style. Lion and Garden also have their own private bars, and all three suites make superb works party venues.

Everything's Taken Care Of

Every client works with a dedicated Conference Host from our events team. They'll plan the event with you, then be on hand on the day, ready to help with everything from extra coffee to fixing IT gremlins.

Rather than being cooped up in city centre offices, your meeting can be on the banks of the beautiful Llangollen Canal. Your delegates can stretch their legs on our grounds, taking in the lush countryside views and relaxing by the water. In less inviting weather, there are plenty of breakout spaces inside the hotel, so everyone can have a change of scene and catch up with a bit of informal networking.
