Inrange technology has opened up golf to a whole new group of players, and not just the teenagers and 20 somethings, although there are many of them here having fun. We have people of all ages coming to enjoy time out with friends and family and the good thing is that at Ufford Park it is included in the cost of your range balls. (For a small fee you can also use the extra features of inrange+. I will talk about these later).
The good thing about Inrange is that there is something on offer for every visitor. You may think that golf is not for you, but with the ball tracking technology and computer software our driving range is not just for the serious golfer looking to improve their game and handicap, although it is perfect for them as well. You no longer have to spend hours out on the course in all weathers to enjoy swinging a club.
Our driving range is now a place to play, as well as practice! But watch out, it is addictive! It makes golfers want to practice more, and non-golfers to play more.
If you are a golfer having trouble knowing how far you are hitting the ball with each club, or if your driving range sessions have no focus or purpose, never knowing if you have improved or solved a problem, then Inrange is for you.
For the group of friends wanting to have some fun, the games and multi-player modes are perfect for social group play.
Inrange can track a shot that just makes it out of the bay as well as a fantastic 300 yard drive, making it ideal for children and professionals alike, and where accuracy matters, the radar delivers it.
At Ufford Park Resort we like to think that Inrange offers a memorable and fun experience for every visitor no matter what their goals are.
The Practice Experience
As they say “practice makes perfect” and practicing on our 2 tier covered driving range is ideal whatever the weather, but Inrange has several modes depending on what type of practice you are after;
Open Practice mode lets you follow exactly how far your ball goes and in which direction. It is a simple as picking your club from your bag and selecting the matching club on the screen. Then swing and watch the precision radar tracking do the rest.
With target practice mode and virtual fairway mode you can take your range practice into the environment where it matters; Visualise your shot, setup and swing.
You can put your skills to the test, adding a little bit of pressure and more fun, with the three skill-based challenges: Shrinking Target, Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin, all of which are fairly self-explanatory.
If you have you always wanted to play on the course at Wentworth or Valderrama you will be delighted to hear that now you can!
In fact, you can play a selection of championship courses from the comfort of your own bay. Each course is playable for all abilities, so even a beginner can have a go at getting round a world class course. There really is no stopping you!
The Inrange App
Inrange describes this as being ”like a caddy in your pocket”.
You don’t have to download the app to play, anyone can use Inrange, keep track of their scores in that session and have access to some of the games and the courses, but with out the app the scores will be lost!
The ability to gather play statistics for analysis, sync them to the cloud and even enter your scores on the global leader boards makes using the app invaluable in monitoring how your golf is progressing and tracking your game scores. You can even get detailed post-practice analysis to measure your progress and perfect your game.
Oh and I nearly forgot, you can make every shot count and ensure the range experience truly yours with your very own Inrange handicap!
They really have thought of everything!
Inrange +
Would you like that little bit more from Inrange, more of a challenge and maybe a bit more competitive? Then lets talk multi player!!
Oh yes, has it just started to sound even better? Inrange+ does cost a little bit more. Don’t get me wrong, you still get all the functions of Inrange, but you also get some extra games: Bullseye, Twenty One and Destroyer (I won’t spoil the fun by going into any details of these games, you need to try them out for yourself). However, the most exciting part for me is not just that you get multi player (although this is fantastic), but that you can play not only against people in your own bay, but with friends in other bays as well!
Whether you are practicing for a game on our 18 hole course, or to improve at Shrinking Target, you can come on your own (and get the advantage over your friends on your next competition day), bring your friends, or hold a group event. No matter how young or old, everyone will enjoy time with Inrange.
Remember, you don’t have to use the technology to have a memorable experience. If you enjoy practicing and don’t what to have to sign in and press buttons, then you are more that welcome to just use the range as you would any other range. You will still get the fun and benefit you would normally.
It’s all about the fun!!
