At Langstone Quays we’ve teamed up with a range of local clubs to offer the possibility of an extended stay and variety of challenges for all levels of play.

CROOKHORN BY GLENDALE

Established in 1926, the course offers a challenging 18-hole, par-69 layout stretching 6,139 yards, set atop the South Downs with scenic views over Portsmouth. The facility includes a clubhouse, pro shop, and practice areas.

PETERSFIELD GOLF CLUB

Established in 1891 is just a short drive away from Langstone Quays. The 18- hole course is a par-72 measuring at 6,450 yards and was designed by Martin Hawtree. The course provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels, featuring well-maintained greens and a variety of hole designs. The club also offers facilities such as a clubhouse, pro shop, practice range, putting green, and practice nets.

Family Activities:

• Sailing: Families can embark on sailing adventures, suitable for all skill levels, fostering teamwork and creating lasting memories.
• Paddle Sports: Engage in stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) and kayaking, versatile watersports that are both fun and accessible for family members aged 7 and above.
• Windsurfing: Experience the thrill of windsurfing under the guidance of experienced instructors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable activity for the whole family.

Team-Building Activities:

• Corporate Events:  Accommodating groups ranging from 6 to 120 participants.

All activities are located on the picturesque shores of Langstone Harbour and run by trained and accredited instructors.

Wake up to a day of adventure as a high-quality bike is delivered straight to your hotel.  With a packed lunch and a detailed route map in hand, you set off on the Hayling Billy Trail, a scenic coastal path offering breath taking views of Langstone Harbour.  The salty sea breeze, calls of seabirds, and gentle terrain make for a relaxed, immersive ride.

Pedal past historic landmarks, charming villages, and golden beaches, stopping at a picturesque spot to enjoy your locally sourced lunch.  The flat, easy-going trail is perfect for all fitness levels, allowing you to soak in the island’s natural beauty at your own pace.

As the sun begins to set, you cycle back, where your bike is conveniently collected from the hotel—ending a stress-free day of exploration.  Ready to experience Hayling Island on two wheels.

Hayling Boat Trips offers captivating excursions around the serene waters of Hayling Island to get up close to the resident population of seals that live so close to the hotel.

Tour Details:

• The trips are on board a purpose built, fully licenced and insured boat which departs just a five minute walk from the hotel entrance.  Within twenty minutes, guests will be enjoying the up-close experience, watching the seals as they sleep and play on the harbour's sandbanks.  With around a hundred seals residing in the harbour, guests will get to see the seals on every trip and even see the newly born seal pups during pup season.
