Torfaen Pride
Torfaen Pride is a community-led LGBTQ+ celebration held in Pontypool Park, South Wales, organised by the charity Club F.O.D Cymru. First launched in 2024, it has quickly become an important annual event that brings together LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies from across the region to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
The event features live performances, drag acts, music, food stalls, and community spaces designed to support wellbeing and connection. It is also rooted in activism, highlighting ongoing issues such as equality and rising hate crimes while promoting visibility in smaller towns. Torfaen Pride aims to reduce isolation, strengthen community ties, and create a safe, welcoming space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued each year in June.
